The 1824 Historical Gala project, part of our LHSQ200 celebrations, presents the history and culture of the early years of the Literary and Historical Society of Quebec in a charming setting: a costumed gala with music, theatre, activities, and food.

Through this event, the Morrin Centre invites you to immerse yourself in the past to better understand the world of the LHSQ and its members in the 19th century. The afternoon will include games, dance, poetry, and music, followed by an evening banquet with a historically inspired three-course meal, to delight the taste buds and the mind.
