So the Story Goes – Picture Book Illustrations – Youth event
So the Story Goes is a series of activities presenting different forms of storytelling, from picture books to music and Indigenous storytelling. This project will explore different forms of storytelling important to the Quebec Anglophone community and will allow participants to experiment with many ways to tell stories.
This activity is a youth activity for children ages 8 to 12. A general public version of this activity is offered at 7:30 p.m on September 15; more information available HERE.
This activity will include a short presentation by a children’s books illustrator, followed by a workshop during which the guest will present the basis of her art and will guide the participants in applying their new knowledge in a practical way.
