Nathan Hellner-Mestelman would quickly die without a pen in hand. He is the author of Cosmic Wonder (2024) and The Language of the Stars (2025) at Linda Leith Publishing, and a member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. He does outreach at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, meaning he earns his modest wage by sparking existential crises in innocent citizens. His writing has featured in Sky’s Up and the former SkyNews astronomy magazines. He currently studies at Mount Douglas Secondary School and lives in Victoria with his family and his two cats.
