Join youth author Vikki VanSickle at the Morrin Centre and learn the ins and outs of tailoring your writing to young audiences!

Vikki VanSickle is an award-winning author and children’s literature advocate. She has published 5 picture books, including the best-selling If I Had a Gryphon and her latest, a spooky ode to Christina Rossetti’s work, Into the Goblin Market. She also writes YA novels (The Lightning Circle) and middle-grade novels, such as P.S. Tell No one and the Red Maple award-winning The Winnowing. Vikki has worked across the industry as a children’s bookseller, reviewer, and spent eleven years working in children’s book marketing. When not writing, Vikki can be found curating and presenting a monthly kids’ book segment for CTV Your Morning. Originally from Woodstock, ON, Vikki now lives in Toronto with her cat, Barb.
