On Friday, August 25th, and Saturday, August 26th, join us on the Chaussée des Écossais for two days of free concerts and activities! In case of rain, the festival will take place indoor, in the Morrin Centre ballroom.
The Arts Alive! Quebec Festival is back for its ninth year in 2023! The whole family can join the celebration with concerts, challenges, contests, performances, and more. All activities are free and require no registration. Saturday visitors may even get a tasty surprise!

- 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. – Live-painting by Patricia Roby
Saturday, August 26
- 10:30 a.m. – Book Quest Storytime Activity (3-6 YO)
- 12:00 p.m. – Launch of the day’s activities
- 12:15 p.m. – Improv Showcase
- 1:30 p.m. – Book Quest STEAM Club Activity (7-12 YO)
- 2:30 p.m. – Photo Walk Departure
- 3:30 p.m. – Quebec Art Company Showcase
- 4:15 p.m. – Concert – Bill Vincent
- From noon to 5 p.m. – Artisan Fair, Contest, Challenges, Family Activities
The Arts Alive! Quebec festival started as an initiative by the English-language Arts Network, a not-for-profit organization that connects, supports, and promotes Quebec’s English-speaking artists and art communities. Over the past years, several regions throughout the province have participated in Arts Alive! Quebec. These festivals have featured their local artistic communities with events reflecting local tastes and customs. In 2022, the Morrin Centre is proud to feature Quebec City’s artistic community for the eighth consecutive year with its own take on the festival. Arts Alive! Quebec is an opportunity to come together and to celebrate local English-language creativity while building bridges between English-speaking and French-speaking communities.
