Book Quest (3-7): Anything Is Possible
Once again, Book Quest is back for the summer! In partnership with the TD Summer Reading Club, this literacy program fosters children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities throughout the summer season.
Have you ever had a crazy dream? Thought of something that seemed impossible, but that you still wanted to do? Well, you’re not the only one, as you will discover in this week’s story: Anything Is Possible, written by Giulia Belloni and illustrated by Marco Trevisan. You will learn that nothing is impossible if you want it hard enough! With this in mind, the craft of the week will give you the complete freedom to create whatever you want with the materials you have. Be creative!
The Morrin Centre’s summer reading program for children ages 3 to 7 will take place every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., starting July 10 and ending August 28. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by the week’s theme. All sessions are free and will take place on Zoom.
