Book Quest (8-12): Aluminum Boats
Once again, Book Quest is back for the summer! In partnership with the TD Summer Reading Club, this program fosters children’s love of learning by providing fun, interactive activities throughout the summer season.
Have you ever wondered how boats, those massive metal giants, can float on water instead of sinking? On August 19, we will learn all about this by building aluminum boats. How much weight do you think your boat will be able to bear?
The Morrin Centre’s summer program for children ages 8 to 12 will take place every Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m., starting July 8 and ending August 26. Activities will touch upon S.T.E.M., arts, and more! All sessions are free and will take place on Zoom.
