Culinary Mosaic: Youth Workshop – Nun’s Farts – NEW DATE
This cooking workshop is aimed at children ages 8 to 13, it will be given in English, and will teach how to make nun’s farts pastries.
From scones to chicken fricassee, the Culinary Mosaic series of workshops at the Morrin Centre offer a wonderful opportunity to prepare dishes and learn about the history of the English and French Canadian food traditions. A variety of dishes will be presented by and made under the guidance of chef, writer, stylist, consultant, and entrepreneur Héloïse Leclerc from La Touche Héloïse. She will also provide some historical background, share fun facts about the dishes, and give tips to adjust and create variations of the recipes for further enjoyment.
Please note:
– This hands-on workshop covers the preparation of the pastries, but they will still need to be baked in the oven at home before eating.
– On January 21, all children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. For these youth workshops, the accompanying adult can attend for free and does not need to book a ticket for themselves.
