SOPHIE ESCABASSE is a French author and illustrator. Brooklynite at heart she is now living in Montreal with her husband, three children, and their venerable feline companion, Terrence. She is the author of the best-selling graphic novel series The Witches of Brooklyn and Taxi Ghost (published by Random house Graphic). You can also find her illustrations in middle grade series like The Derby Daredevils, by Kit Rosewater, or in magazines like Kazoo. When she is not working, Sophie likes to spend time with her family and friends, talk to her houseplants or hunt for strange items in thrift stores.
