Anne-Marie Cardin discovered the world of puppets with her Czech grandparents. This growing passion led her to found her theater in 2013. She now produces shows, workshops, videos and booklets featuring her articulated characters. A specialist in string puppets she creates her prototypes in an ecological approach. She presents puppetry as a local art with interactive shows. Her stories can address subjects that affect her, such as ecology or bullying. Her artistic approach took shape in a series of internships in theater, clowning, scenography and music. In 2021, she completed a DESS in contemporary puppet theater at UQAM.
