Sun Dogs in the Sky
Did you know? A “sundog” is a circle of light that occasionally forms around the sun in northern areas. For this week’s Storytime, we will read Sun Dog by Deborah Kerbel and Suzanne Del Rizzo, a lovely story about a dog going on adventures out in the wild. After the reading, we will craft pretty suncatchers with tissue paper and contact paper.
Storytime Online is a literacy program for children ages 3 to 7. Each activity begins with the reading of a story followed by a craft inspired by the week’s theme. Our objective is to foster children’s love of reading by providing fun, interactive activities that will encourage them to continue reading after each session.
All sessions are free and take place every Saturday from January 23 through March 27, 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. We are sold out for the winter session; if you would like to participate and purchase your own materials, send us an email.
